In a move towards greater energy independence and sustainability, Grai Étiquettes, a label manufacturing company based in Colmar, France, has installed a rooftop solar system on its company building. Developed in partnership with CEM Energies, the system is a strong example of how tailored solar solutions can support the energy transition of small to mid-sized enterprises in Europe.

The new system uses Trinasolar NEG9R.28 modules, delivering a total installed capacity of 81 kWc. Designed to meet the company's daytime energy needs, the installation allows it to directly consume the electricity it produces, lowering energy costs and reducing its carbon footprint.

This project demonstrates how industrial businesses can take advantage of solar technology not just for environmental reasons, but also to improve operational efficiency and long-term energy resilience.
